Private Pay: The resident’s personal funds pay for the costs associated with staying at a facility and for the services received.
Long Term Care Insurance (LTCi): LTCi is coverage provided through a privately held long term care insurance policy. Typically these policies provide a daily amount for a period of time to help offset out-of-pocket expenses for a stay at a care facility.
Medicare: The federal health insurance program for people 65 years of age or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure with dialysis or a transplant, sometimes called ESRD). Many Medicare HMO and Medicare Advantage plans are available as an alternative to traditional Medicare coverage.
Medicaid: A joint federal and state program that helps with medical costs for some people with low incomes and limited resources. Medicaid programs vary from state to state, but most health care costs are covered if you qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid. Please note that Missouri Medicaid is now called Missouri HealthNet.
Veteran’s Aid and Attendance Benefit: The Aid and Attendance benefit provides monthly reimbursement for those who served our country and needing care. Care could include home care provided while in your own home, assisted living, or nursing home care. Unfortunately, most people are not aware of this significant benefit that may provide over $2,000 per month to help offset your healthcare costs. To learn more about the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit guidelines and how to qualify, please contact us and we will gladly email you additional information. (insert contact us link).

Our Full Service Placement Program qualifies as an allowable "spend down" expense. In a sense, the service does not cost you any extra out-of-pocket expense. Contact us at 913-945-2800 or send us an email for more information on exactly how this works and how it may benefit you!
